Audio track of a clip on the timeline appears silent. -

PostThu Sep 24, 2020 3:54 pm

I cut some video in Premiere, then exported it to Davinci. I've been working on the various timelines without an issue, but now I started working on one where the lav mic was broken, so I have to use just the audio from the cameras. However, there appears to be no sound on the audio track connected to the clip, like so: https://i.imgur.com/l41H6ZZ.jpg (notice how there is no waveform showing, playback is silent).

If I grab the same clip and drag it to the timeline, it brings in the audio track as well and it works fine: https://i.imgur.com/QGSm83N.jpg (notice how the freshly added instance of the same clip now shows the waveform).

The silent audio tracks also appear to be greyed out, or more dim than the track of the clip that I can hear: https://i.imgur.com/d3BdInA.jpg

Is there a way to ... recheck or reset each clip in the timeline and make sure the audio is there this time? I don't know how the tracks went silent, whether it happened during the Premiere export, or while I worked on some settings, or if it's perhaps some "mute" button that I had foolishly pressed...

I could just delete everything and re-add each clip, but the amount of editing is insane, so that's why I'm asking if there's a way to re-link the audio of already placed clips.

Thanks for any help any of you might be able to provide!
