BRAW files grey out in premiere after a while

I recently shot a project with multiple pocket 4k cameras. I'm editing in premiere pro 2020, at first it gave me the option to change the braw settings like iso etc... but after I made some changes in the braw settings its greyed out. the clip still has the modification on it but I can't seem to be able to access the braw settings again.

tried to restart premiere, restarted the computer. nothing seems to work. no option in the panel is accessible can't even go back to camera metadata and the original flat look I shot on.

Anyone has a solution?

regards.

The Blackmagic RAW Premiere Pro plugin is buggy https://www.autokroma.com/blog/Blackmag ... Difference

Did you try "Replace Clip" with the same .braw ? It could re initialize everything sometimes it could help, according to my own tests (I'm not from Blackmagic Design)

I'm also having this same issue. Restarted and Installed latest BRAW. Raw settings still get greyed out under the Master Tab.

**Update**
I had a deadline to meet so I purchased the BRAW Studio from Autokroma. The cost was $60 but the time and frustration was well worth the investment. There's some features like batching and presets that make the tool very useful. I'm not sponsored by them. Worth a look if you are having these issues.

Sadly I got the same issue. After some time working in Premiere Pro the master tab of some BRAW files is greyed out. A restart doesn´t fix the problem.

What I've found to actually work (though the stability thereafter is questionable) is to copy-paste the raw settings from a clip (might have to be newly imported) that has the raw settings editable onto the one that isn't editable.

However, we're finding that copy-pasting the raw settings has a tendency to just break the braw plugin within PPro, resulting in no output, PPro crashing, or weird behaviours with the raw settings like a clip taking on the raw settings of a previous clip (either in front of it on the timeline or one previously selected, haven't tested to that extent).

This is our experience with BRAW on Windows in Premiere with the Ursa Mini 12K, I haven't tested footage from our other BM cameras recently.

When we tested the Blackmagic plugin a year ago we found out that Copy Pasting was buggy with Blackmagic plugin, beware. Even if it worked there's an issue if the available ISO list is different. Copy Pasting works in BRAW Studio (but the ISO might not be properly copied as I said).

We found out that using the official "preset" feature of effects from Premiere Pro will get the project corrupted also so that should be avoided too (even in BRAW Studio).

The same here. From 2019 September to 2020 November nothing new on this error, still without any solution from Blackmagic. This is not OK.
