Bad Sound after capturering with Intensity pro

PostFri Oct 09, 2020 7:53 pm

Hi there,
I am currently facing a issue while i am trying to digitalize my old VHS cassettes.

First My Setup:
PC: Win10 64bit (i7 4670 + 16GB Ram + Geforce 1060+1TB SSD)
VHS Recorder: Blaupunkt RTV-915
DVD Recorder: Panasonic DMR-EH585 + HDMI Splitter
CaptureCard: Blackmagic intensity Pro

My Problem is I try to capture my VHS via PAL format.
Video looks fine and I see the "sound bars" moving.
With the splitter I receive the same signal at my TV (there everything looks fine)
But if I open my captured video it sounds absolutly horrible.
You can find a sound sample here www(dot)mediafire.com/file/367q7opwu3qdd2a/test.mp3/file
actually you should listen to some singing children... :o

I tried this with different HDMI cables and Media Express Version 10.3.7 and 11.5.1
No difference between those versions.

Those anyone has any idea would could be wrong  ?

Thanks
