Is there any advantage to putting each camera's footage on its own drive. I have a small stack of ssd's as I move up to M.2 drives.
Did my first cut with 4 4k files and it was a little jumpy.
I optimized the footage and then ran proxy at a quarter. Set the cache to smart.
Any other suggestions.
All this on a 5390k intel 6 core and a Zotac 1080 ti.
Have a second system I upgraded to a 3900 12 core with a second Zotac 1080 ti to test yet. Playback on of Bmpcc 6k was smooth.....
