Need Help Installing DaVinci !!!!

Hello I'm new to DaVinci Resolve, I purchased a BMCC and it came with DaVinci and I'm trying to install it on my macbook pro, when I stick the disk it always comes up with the utility software the BMCC camera, and I have that installed on my macbook pro already. Does anyone know how to over come this?

the camera comes with 2 discs. The utility and davinci. Did you put the right one in? Did you put the USB in? I only ask because I put the utility in and thought wtf?

I put the DaVinci disk in and it opens saying BMCC Utility.... I'm like is this disk mislabled.... Do I need put the key and then the disk? It would be helpful if they included some dayum instructions.

what does the the disc icon on your desktop read as?

The Disk labeled "DaVinci Resolve 9" say "Blackmagic" that's it... nothing else. It opens the same way the Blackmagic Software and Manual disk does stating that it's the camera utility program Getting very angry about this.

yeah, thats wrong. You'll have to call them on Monday. I heard something like that happened to someone else and it got sorted out pretty quick.

Thanks, I'm trying to download the program now off the support page and see if that works with this key. All I can do at this point is try until Monday.

I once bought a Pixies Dolittle CD and got home to discover a Last of The Mohicans soundtrack instead. Polyester Records in Brunswick Street Melbourne. I wonder if their still there.

LOL... WOW... I know you were pissed.... Well I bought a "outkast" cd from best buy got to my car opened to ready to make some noise and there was no disk in the cd jacket... I walked back in and the manager didn't even say a word and just politely went got me a new one.

You are better off downloading the latest version from the support section of the BM site as the version on the CD is probably out of date.

The USB dongle is your license and works with any full version you download including the future version 10 when its released. The full version will replace the Lite version if you have it installed.

Thanks Adam, I did download it from the support section and I had the dongle in but I don't know what the Admin passwrd is...I'm still calling support on Monday to make sure I'm set up correctly.
