The Compression Quality selection is not applicable to ProRes files. You'll notice that it's grayed out when you have a ProRes CODEC selected.

Yes I am getting the options for ProRes4444 and they are not grayed. Please check you system.

Let say we agree on the options thing. Which one is the best

I did check on my system. The Compression Quality selection is not available for ProRes clips. What version of Resolve are you using? Even if the compression quality selection is available for some reason, I don't believe it will affect ProRes. If you want to prove that, just render a short clip twice, using the 2 compression quality extremes, and see if the file size changes. I don't believe it will.

For clips the compression quality selection works with, such as MPEG4 and H.264, the Best mode would give you the best quality, with less compression.

I thought I did answer that question when I said the Best mode would give you best quality with less compression.

So Best, is best quality. Best quality has least compression.
High is lesser quality than Best, with more compression.
Medium is lesser quality than High, with more compression.
Low is lesser quality than Medium, with more compression.
Least is lesser quality that Low, with more compression.
