iMac fan turns on when I leave the eGPU connected

Good afternoon, I recently purchased the Blackmagic eGPU but when I connect to my iMac the fan turns without stopping. Not until I disconnect, is when the fan turns off. Does this mean that the eGPU is might not compatible with my iMac? It's a 2019 iMac running macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6.

It's a known bug with the Pro version. Or do you have the 'cheaper' 580?

I have the 580 egpu and my iMac fans turns on fire when I start on my iMac with Blackmagic eGPU connected.If I connect it after turn on the iMac , All is ok.

That's weird, I have nearly the same configuration. Which system are you on?
