Request: Unlink clips for sizing

If working with clips automatically linked because they are from the same take, you cannot ungroup them or unlink them in any way if one of them needs to be resized. Even if you create new versions to resize one of the clips, all clips get resized identically, even if they're of a different version.

I'd request the ability to unlink the clips from each other so I can resize as necessary, even if they're from the same take.

Hey Manny, seems like something isn't working correctly for you. I just tested again and creating a new local version for a clip 'unlinked' it from the rest and allowed me to resize the clip without it affecting other clips from the same file (take).

Are you sure you're not creating a new remote version instead of local version?

Yes, the sizing should be stored locally with each edit once you unlink them.

Can you make you are using the "Copy grades to local" or the "Use Local Grades" option in the thumbnail/VSR timeline.

Hmmm... just ran into this issue tonight for some reason on this project.

Nothing i do with unlink sizing from applying to EVERY clip, remotely linked or not. I've tried choosing the local versions option, creating new local versions, etc etc.

Any size adjustment is being applied to every clip in the timeline. Not sure why this project has this behavior but might be the way the guy made the XML. Will try look into more.

Are u in track or clip mode? If track, the whole timeline is adjusted by you setting changes.

Hey Peter, the project seems fine today after installing the 9.0.1 update. No other changes. Was definitely in clip node view. Thanks!
