decklink duo 2, mc converters HDMI-SDI

I have a PC with one Decklink Duo 2 and two micro converters HDMI to SDI and also an external monitor with only HDMI. I wonder if it possible to use it as an external monitor but since the MC is HDMI to SDI only, I wonder if it can be reversed. I have never used these devices before, hence the silly question.
