AMD ReLive File Format Question
Hi, I am new to video recording and just trying it for the first time. I have recorded a little bit of Windows Desktop and Games footage using AMD's Radeon Software. It's nice and easy, it just writes an .mp4 file.
The trouble I ran into was that the file could only be played back in "mpv", it would not play in DaVinci Resolve 16 or in Windows Media Player.
Am I missing some kind of Codec or something? And if so how do I add a Codec to DaVinci Resolve 16?
Alternatively, is there something I can do to convert my recorded video into a different format that DaVinci Resolve 16 will work with?
I am obviously a noob, thank you for taking the time to view this question.

Edit: So I have managed to convert the file with Handbrake and now DaVinci can read it properly. The original source footage just shows "Media Offline" from the very second I import it. Still, it would be nice to know a way around this as the Handbrake conversion took a long time on a 9900K CPU.
