Resolve Lite 10 - Multiple GPUs

PostMon Sep 16, 2013 4:39 am

Hi all,

Just wanted to inquire about the additional GPU support on DaVinci Resolve Lite, as of version 10.

We have 2x identical GeForce GTX 660ti s installed, and so far there is only 1 showing up in Resolve.
Tried both with, and without SLI bridge.

Definitely not expecting this to be a priority for support or anything, considering this is the lite version..

But just thought I'd inquire, in case anyone has had success with this or has any info?

Cheers!

System info:
Intel i7-3930KCPU @3.2GHz
P9X79 Pro Motherboard
2x GeForce GTX 660 Ti
32GB RAM, Win 7 64bit

I thought the Lite version only supported 1 GPU?

All the news articles I've seen about version 10 have quoted Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design as saying:

"Other changes include the addition of Ultra HD resolutions and additional GPU support on the free of charge DaVinci Resolve Lite edition."

Thought I'd test it out

http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/product ... ve/compare

says 1 GPU for Resolve 10 lite version. Output resolution has been increased though.

I have the full version, so haven't tried myself.

Maybe when he said, "additional GPU support" he meant the support for AMD GPUs on Windows with OpenCL..?

I'm having the same problem. Maybe it's a bug? It is a Beta.

v9 I can get 1 GUI and 1 GPU - everything works normal

v10 Mac I only get 1 GPU (and it recognized the GPU the monitor is plugged into)
v10 Windows I only get 1 GPU (but it recognized the GPU the monitor is NOT plugged into -weird)
