Editor Keyboard video or audio only adjustments

But one thing bugs me that would really speed up my workflow:
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make video or audio only modifications on the timeline with the editor keyboard without using the mouse?
I would LOVE to be able to make adjustments JUST to my audio layers without effecting my linked video layer. I am now using my MOUSE to lock the video layer to do so. Having the ability to 'lock' all video or audio layers via the keyboard would save me al lot of time! Or am I missing something here?
There are buttons on the keyboard "Video Only" and "Audio Only" but they only work when importing source material on the timeline. I'm talking about making adjustments ON the timeline for audio or video only.
