Media Offline issue, Multi OS environment

Currently testing out a Resolve server for our post office. We have a mix of Windows and MacOS.
We have a windows machine on the network that it's our PostgreSQL database host. I've assigned it a static IP and everything seems to be working fine within the office.
I have a Media Offline issues moving between Mac and Windows desktops. All of our data is stored on a QNAP NAS that we all share. I've made sure we are all now connecting to it over SMB. If the Mac saves a project and it is opened on the Windows machine, all the media shows up offline. It's all there and i have to reconnect every time. It seems like a pathing issue within resolve?
Has anyone experienced this or know of a way to correct it. The multi user setup seems to be working fine except for this major issue. Thanks.
