I have a 2 questions about Resolve.

Do you have questions about Desktop Video, Converters, Routers and Monitoring?

I'm using the Resolve Beta and loving it. I noticed you can't render anything over 1080p. Maybe its a Beta/limit thing?

Will the full version allow us to render Raw files out to ProRes? Hopefully that's not too difficult to do.

Correct. The Lite version of Resolve limits renders to 1080p or smaller. It will accept bigger than 1080p sources, they just can't be rendered any larger than HD.

This limitation is removed with the paid version of Resolve (which ships with the BMCC).

Also - the Lite version can render to ProRes (as well as DNxHD), DPX, and more...

Thanks for the quickie reply!

Yea I figured the beta had a limit on it. Still cool and yea I already rendered a few out to 1080p super good and very fast!

I can't wait to gather some Raw clips, render them out to ProRes, and throw them in a 720p window just to see what I can do in terms of creativity/editing/framing.

This just happens to be the very question I wanted to ask.
