Cintel Scanner Audio Reader Mechanical Adjustments

PostSat Feb 20, 2021 4:55 pm

Capturing with the Cintel Audio Reader (audio test tracks) a member of the team suggested that the azimuth of the reader be tweaked to increase performance. Are these mechanical adjustments controlled by the "Audio Extraction" software control panel? Or are there screw adjustments to affect azimuth, zenith and yaw.

Product Brochure Quote: "The reader features a magnetic audio head or deep red LED illumination with advanced optics, electro formed slits, and precision mechanical adjustments for azimuth, zenith and yaw to give you the best possible audio capture with incredible high frequency response."

Where is the guide to adjust these setting?
Thank you,

Hi Peter,

Azimuth, zenith and yaw are all mechanical adjustments. What specific performance losses are you suffering that would require adjustment? As the head should be correctly optimised from factory setup.

Can you advise if it's Optical OR Magnetic audio capture that is an issue?
