what can davinci resolve lite do for this video clip?

Hi,

I've got a video clip, (music video) that i'd like to see what davinci resolve lite can improve-clarity, color, etc. I've been playing around with the software, but not been too successful in improving the clip. I'd like to ask people who are experienced in color grading and this software, to download the clip and see what they can do to improve it overall. If anybody can obtain good results, please reupload the clip and steps on how they used resolve lite to improve the video! Thanks very much in advance.

you are asking other peoples services for free?

some people have spent years of they'r time on refining they'r skills
so why would they have to consult you for free ? (i'm not talking about myself)

would you do it yourself in that manner gave out your skill set for free
after lets say 10 years of experience?

I'm just trying to say it in polite manner that it is not likely that you will have step by step
guidance how to color correct tho whole video no matter what platform is used.

Hi, I am not asking for people's services for free at all. I asking to see if a video such as the I provided can be improved by this software, if not, then the software is not for me. If I had the skills, I would gladly help out and that is it.

you would do it with what ever software you have at hand
so it is not what you would do with resolve was my point.

I downloaded the file and hoped it was a shot from a camera, but it turns out it's a music video downloaded from YouTube. Nothing I'd like to get into Resolve, really.


Start adjusting Gain and Saturation, and see what happens.


DaVinci and the tools it provides can indeed fix videos like that. Even the three-way in Premiere, Final Cut or Avid could make a big difference. So it's not necessary DaVinci that needs to prove it can do the job, but the skillset of whoever is pursuing the goal of making it better.

Yes, already adjusted gain and saturation, and sharpness. I'd just like to see people who have used the software for awhile now, and at colorgrading to see if a video like the one I provided can yes be like clear, good color, sharp, almost to the point of hd. If anybody would like to try it, and upload a result and show some points of what it takes I would be most appreciative! By the way, if you are not interested in helping at all, I'd rather anybody not reply.

Don't get me wrong. I'd like to help, but I honestly don't see the point in doing "less than SD to "HD"". Even a high res still would be better to have a go at than the clip you provided.
