Gradients and tracking

PostSat Mar 13, 2021 11:18 am

Hi, I have a tracked power window, and within that window I want a gradient. So in the upper right corner of a room I want a dark gradient. This area is only fully shown by the end of the scene.

But its not working...the gradient does not track, so the shadows don't say in one place. I have the tracked power window in a serial node then I output that key to another serial node where I have the gradient. What am I doing wrong?

Hope this makes sense.

you have to apply your tracking data to the gradient. Think of the tracker as a merge tool.
It has an input for the shot you are tracking, but it also has a second input that should allow you to add another assest.

Are you set up as a corner pin track as well? It sounds like you are basically trying to do a screen replacement, so i would search for some corner pin, or screen replacement tutorials online.
