For everyone out there who has a UlraStudio 4K Mini feeding their HDR capable monitor over HDMI, I'd like to know if experienced any handshake issues, specifically when switching between SDR to HDR and back.
Currently, the handshake works when switching from SDR to HDR but not reverse. However, when the signal is coming over SDI, it's working flawlessly (with a proper converter that supports HDR metadata tagging).
I could not find anyone reporting this issue and according to the manual, there shouldn't be any difference in metadata tagging between SDI or HDMI plus it works one way.
Would be super grateful if a user here could just jump into a color managed project and switch back and forth between SDR and HDR and report the results.
