I have been editing video for my church services for the last year in Davinci Resolve Studio 17. Pretty benign stuff like trimming the ends, adding slides for teaching, and maybe a callout. every week I render it in mp4 and post to our YouTube channel. This week it was different, after the render the file had an appropriate size, but Window Explorer showed no "length" for the file. When I open it, it plays for half-a-second then stops. No video or audio comes up and no error is displayed in VLC, Windows Media, or any other player. I haven't tried any other formats yet.

The only difference is, I THINK I ran the upgraded to 17.2.1 in between. I know I upgraded but not sure if it was this past week. I'm recording on BMPCC 4k, Prores, 24 fps.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Soooo....sometimes the simplest answer is the best. Turns out I was out of disk space on my HDD. Davinci didn't warn me or error out, it just finished rendering an unusable video.
