TB2 compatibility

I have a 2015 iMac with TB2 running Avid MC, does anyone know if the black magic design ultra studio monitor 3g would connect via apple TB 2 to TB3 adapter.

I don't think so, you may need to look for the older TB 2 model second-hand.
Don't approach Resolve with your expectations from other NLEs! They are all different.
