Hyperdeck Studio HD Pro

When I connected this BNC connection to my SDI input on my Marshall 7” Dual Monitors it will not work. If I connect it to my 24” Sony Production monitor, it works showing Video and the Hyperdeck overlays. Is there some requirements for using the Monitor Out BNC, that is not mentioned in the manual.
I read that the Monitor Out BNC is. 3G-SDI, but nothing else. The Marshall monitors are 800x400, the Sony is a full 1080p. Any light on this matter is welcome.
