M1 Drivers for DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K?

I have a DeckLink and would love to move it into an expansion chassis to use with my new M1 MAX MacBook Pro, but it is unclear if the driver is M1 compatible. Anyone know if so? I'd really hate to drop $1K on an Ultrastudio just for simple monitoring.

I haven't got an answer to your question, but congrats on the new purchase, can't wait to get my hands on one, too!

I doubt an expansion chassis will work for M1 machines. If monitoring for color is enough for you, just get an UltraStudio Monitor 3G, it works perfectly fine here for a Mac mini M1.

Expansion chassis’ work just fine just not with GPUs.
I’ve got a few of them in production with BMD cards and they work fine.
There was a cut off of of some cards but the 4k cards all seem to work fine, even if not used jn 4k I-O

Just make sure you’re using the latest BMD drivers

Let me clarify,

I am using Decklink Duo 2 & multiple Decklink Mini Monitors 4k in Sonnet Echo IIIs chassis' with no issues.

3 of them are running on a Mac mini M1 and the other is a "road" kit that I use on my MacBook Air M1.

As I stated prior, there were some cards that BMD aren't supporting on M1, but It seems to be some of the old 3G and 6G stuff. But if you pull the BMD Video drivers on the support page it lists all the hardware that is supported on an M1.

Thank you, Jody. I'm going to order a Sonnet cage and keep my fingers crossed.
