So I've been shooting with a BMPCC 4K for several years and I am just now noticing that in the past few days there have been horizontal glitches in the footage. It's happened at least twice recently and I've attached a screenshot of the issue (ignore the large blue oval over the subject's face - the glitch is the pink horizontal line in the right side of the frame).
The glitch is only for 1 frame so it's not a huge deal but I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this? This was shot in 4x3 anamorphic mode with Q3 quality.
Do you still have the footage on the original media? Sometimes this can happen when transferring the file if you don't use checksum or other file transfer verification. The issue potentially could have happened on camera too but generally this is from transferring. If you have the original clip on the original media still, verify if the issue is there or not.
**Any post by me prior to Aug 2014 was before i started working for Blackmagic**
Unfortunately no, I don't, but thanks for the tip! I'll keep this in mind if the issue persists (I was using a rented CFast 2 card and have not noticed the issue on my own cards).
