I really need help with my BMPCC 4k

Ok so I just finished shooting my first short film on the BMPCC 4k and I noticed that when I plugged my Samsung T5 SSD into my laptop to upload footage, nothing ever showed up. I've done some digging and found out that reformatting the drive could help but I haven't had any luck. What am I doing wrong? I've lost all of my footage and still can't figure out how to get footage from my drive to my computer. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5447 and I'm trying to get files into Davinci Resolve. I can't find anything online to help, can anyone out there help me out?

There are two formats you can use in your camera, HFS for Apple computers and exFAT for either PC or Apple.
HFS can't be read by a PC without additional software. Unfortunately, you lost all your footage by formatting, it might have been a better idea to ask first.
