Mini Monitor not showing up with MBP M1 Max

PostWed Nov 24, 2021 9:10 pm

Anyone having an issue with the M1 chips working with the mini monitor? I've updated desktop video and DaVinci and nothing is noticing it. The light is on in the mini monitor so I know it's seeing it.

Old Mini Monitor or 3G model? Only the latter works.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM and iPhone 15 Pro

When you said latter, are you referring to the ultrastudio 3G mini monitor?

Yes, that works for me. The older UltraStudio devices are not on the compatibility list.
