BRAW files

I am currently trying to work with some BRAW files and despite installing various plugins to help my PC support the footage, the majority of the footage will not work on my computer or import into Premiere Pro. I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience and if they did, how did they overcome that if it was possible.

What kind of various plugins did you install? Blackmagic has braw support plugins only for AE and Premiere, braw files will not be readable in some random software X, every software has to explicitly support braw.
