Blackmagic SDI to Audio - SDI audio Demuxer Getting Hot

Hi all,

I have the Blackmagic SDI to Audio converter,
It's working fine and it's doing it's thing, but I notice it gets really rather hot to the touch when plugged into power? Why? Is this converter supposed to get hot?

Yeah, I've noticed.. Have you any idea why? What is in this box that makes it so hot?

As far as I know, the original 1.5G boxes were using Semtech chips that produced an excellent conversion, but ran hot. The 3G boxes switched to Xilinx FPGAs, which BMD loves to use.
