Having not had any Resolve/GV Edius workflow put into the written form, we made some attempts to make our own one at GV’ forum. Nevertheless some open question still exists.
Edius project contains a couple of sequential sequences (e.g. Seq1, Seg2, ... SegN), all of them have been exported through Avid’ DNxHD to .MOV and have their corresponding EDLs. When above sequences are gonna be imported into Resolve's media pool, it arranges them properly at master timeline, one-by-one, based on timecode. Then, when we start to pre-conform their EDLs, some mess is happening at the timeline, incl. some reel conflicts appearing. Probably, there’s some question about timecode shifts or so?
Does anyone has a proper experience about that? Thank you.
