Intensity Pro 4K DCI output - solved?

PostThu Nov 24, 2022 1:23 pm

I use an Intensity Pro 4K card feeding a signal to a plasma TV as a large monitor.

It works fine with HD or UHD footage. However, I cannot get a display with a 4K DCI source.

In Resolve I can set the preview output to HD or UHD and get an image with the edges clipped. However, that's not an option in After Effects. Is there any way to make the Intensity Pro card down convert the 4K DCI image to UHD or HD? Thanks.

Ok so I think from my reading that the Intensity Pro 4K isn't compatible with 4K DCI, only UHD.

Not only it's not compatible with 4K, it has no powerful scaler, so you don't get UHD to HD scaling at all.
It's bit outdated card based on HDMI 1.4b chip.
