Ultrastudio Mini 4k output

The Ultrastudio Mini 4k specifies DCI 2k is SDI only. This is how I plan on using it, but I was wondering if the HDMI sends out a video signal when the project resolution is DCI 2K, and if it does what that signal is.

Old post I know, but I'll answer for the benefit of anyone who might come upon this topic in a search.
The UltraStudio 4K mini does NOT output 2K over HDMI. I haven't figured out if this a BM or an HDMI limitation. It does however send a signal out which will be cropped to 1920x1080.
My workaround, as I have a 4K DCI monitor, is to output 4K (DCI) which you can do over HDMI. Alternatively you can also set your monitor output (in Resolve Timeline settings to 1080x1920 and have Resolve scale the image down, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of having a DCI monitor (if you have one).
