Project Framerate

Hey guys,

I have some clips at 29.97fps, so I set my project framerate to 29.97. When I import these clips, however, Resolve says I'm at the wrong framerate and asks if I want to change it. If I do, I changes to 59.94.

Does anybody know why it happens? Is it ok if I keep the project/timeline at 29.97?

I'm converting this files to dnxhd 36 to be used as proxies, so I guess it better stay at the source framerate to avoid problems in the future, right?

Are your files interlaced?

They must be flagged as interlaced.
There may be also issue with DF vs. NDF setting. Resolve seems to complain about it as well wich is bit "over the top".
