HDMI blue screen

PostThu Dec 08, 2022 1:38 am

We recently upgraded our audio suites with the Mac Studio M1 Max and part of the refit was the inclusion of the BM Ultrastudio Monitor 3G for video playback from Avid Pro Tools. The connection is Thunderbolt in from the Mac and HDMI out to the monitor. One suite, on powering up, displays a blue screen on the monitor which remains as a blue tint on any video being displayed. This is easily remedied by disconnecting either the Thunderbolt or HDMI connection from the Ultrastudio and replugging, but it's pretty irritating. Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening here? I'm yet to do any serious troubleshooting/swapping out units/cables, etc, but I thought I'd ask the question. Thanks.

Did you update Desktop Video to 12.4.2? It should fix some problems with Avid or Adobe.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
