Media Express No Device is Connected Mac

Both devices are recognized in the System Report
I have tried all the suggestions in removing and re-installing the kext extensions, etc.
Others have suggested the H.264 firmware needs to be upgraded. It's a discontinued product (with no replacement) and is not recognized by BM Convertors Setup.
Any other suggestions? The H.264 setup has been working for years before the latest OS upgrades, etc.
