Playback of Hyperdeck media on Windows Media Player

What challenges am I likely to face playing back Hyperdeck media
directly & smoothly with a mid range i5 PC using Vista or W7 Windows Media Player?
Do the record formats require a *very* fast access to the SSD?
I'm concerned about the universality of the codecs and hassels getting them supported by
media player as well as required read transfer performance.
I have a USB3.0 dock which I would like to use with the SSDs from the Hiperdeck,
but I am leery of USB3.0 as I've clocked read rates on one computer
as low as 30MB/s and another machine 60MB/s. I thought I'd see something close my SSD drive's
SATAII interface saturation rate... 300MB/. At least 100BM/s for sure!
So should I plan on a SATA drive bay instead?
(Unfortunate if so as the interface requires MB support for hot swap)
Thanks in advance for the advise!
