sRGB viewing via BM UltraStudio 4k Mini / Premiere

PostFri Mar 24, 2023 2:07 am

Is there a way to configure an UltraStudio 4k Mini driving an external monitor to display "true" sRGB or a tweaked 709 that matches sRGB. The external monitor is 100% sRGB / rec 709 fed by HDMI (but could be SDI through converter). It is a BenQ SW271C so any calibrations are stored in the monitors hardware anyway.

Kind of want to use a television style edit setup where I have a full-time edit source/program monitor independently driven and free of any OS or application shenanigans or overhead.

I guess 709 at 2.2 gamma would be pretty close to web / computer display which is where 80% of my work goes now. But how would I do that in this set up (monitor, ultra studio, premiere settings) and is there a better way?

Thanks in advance.
