Converting from Blackmagic pocket 4k to iPad pro 16.3.1

PostFri Jun 02, 2023 8:01 pm

Hello,
I would be relly greatful, if anybody could help me.
Is there any chance that I can send the videos directly from the camera to my iPad pro 16.3.1?They don’t open in braw extension and I wondered if there is any solution for this problem. I am away from home where I edit my videos on the computer but I really need an alternative way to create and work on the material that I’ve done.

I can open my BRAW clips just fine in DR on the iPad, but I'm using the M2. Which is yours?
If it's an older Pro, it might be restricted to HD resolution.
Or do you ask about the connection? I can read directly from the cards with an adapter, but I don't recommend working like that. Make a backup first!
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM and iPhone 15 Pro

Thank you so much for your help and sorry for the late reply.
I am using Ipad M1. Is there any chance to go around and make it happen to edit on my device?
Kind Regards,
Martyna

BRAW should work on M1 too. Which camera is it?
Worst case, you can shoot ProRes instead.
