Hey!
I'm pretty new to Davinci Resolve but it's already one of my favorite programs on my system.
There is just one thing: The stabilizer. In every job I do is a shaky shot and the clients question: could you do something about it. I know, Resolve is a Color Grading tool, but it's more or less the only solution to stabilize RAW in my workflow.
Sometimes the stabilizer works like a charm: clicking forward analyze and afterwards stabilize and the result is very good. But sometimes nothing happens when clicking stabilize and I don't know why. I don't get any error message, what I should do. The curves for pan and tilt look pretty good (i.e. high amplitude at shaky frames, etc). I've tried to use some test footage, but I can't figure out a fail save workflow. Is there any chance to let Resolve provide more information, why it can't stabilize a shot? Or copy and paste the curves to sizing keyframes. Manipulating the curves by hand would also be great addition.
I'll really appreciate if you would improve the stabilizer even further.
Cheers,
Cromb
