I have an issue with monitoring Davinci Resolve using the Decklink Mini Monitor HD.

I have a Mac with OS 10.15.7 Catalina and Davinci Resolve 18.1.4. I've installed the Decklink Mini Monitor HD and Desktop Video 12.7. After restarting the computer, I open Desktop Video, and it recognizes the Decklink. Then, I launch Davinci Resolve, and in the Video and Audio I/O tab, I select Monitor device / Decklink Mini Monitor HD. To save the changes, I restart Resolve.

Here's the problem: when I open a project to check if everything is working properly, Resolve freezes and becomes unresponsive.

I've tried installing an older version of Desktop Video like 12.0. The problem is different with this version: it doesn't recognize the Decklink, and the same issue occurs with versions 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3. Only version 12.4 recognizes it, but it has the same problem as 12.7 - Resolve freezes.

While browsing this forum, I came across a topic discussing a problem with the Decklink that was resolved using the terminal with the following command:

sudo mv /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/Blackmagic\ DeckLink/Signed\ Extensions/BlackmagicIO.kext /Library/Extensions

However, in my case, it doesn't work because the .kext file is already in /Library/Extensions.

Apart from updating the Mac's OS, I can't think of anything else to do, and I'm a bit desperate because I just purchased an FSI DM231 monitor that I can't use.

Can you help me? What can I do?

Thank you.
