I am unable to install the latest ATEM driver (ATEM 9.2.2). The installation package is looking for a InstallerSupport.dat file that was never included in the download package from Blackmagic Design. Anyone else having the same problem? Any potential solutions?

Having the same issue. 9.2.1 was looking for a cab file now 9.2.2 is looking for this dat file.

For some reason the files are extracted with hidden attribute.

Extracting the files into a new folder from the downloaded .ZIP file. = ERROR.

My solution: (OS: Windows)

First

Simply double click on the .ZIP file, this operation shows the files, in Windows Explorer, next, double click on the installer file (Install ATEM v9.2.2.exe) , a window will appear, select "Extract all", wait for the system to extract the files, and the installation will start and run without errors.

(Dont use WinZip, 7zip or any other, ONLY windows explorer to the process)

NOTE: Before, uninstall the ATEM software installed on the computer


My 2 cents

Can confirm the files are there in the downloaded ZIP archive, just marked as "hidden". Extract before running the install executable and all works well.

@BMD: it seems that having the .CAB and .DAT files as hidden just causes confusion among some users, so just archive them as normal in the next release, please!

For the life of me I could not figure out why a 4GB zip file was storing a 753KB installer file.
The version 8 installer made so much more sense as a self-extracting executable. Now you can't even transport the installer without keeping it inside the ZIP file.

Head's up for you guys.

Pay attention about which version are you downloading from black magic website. If you downloaded the sdk version, it's gonna be ok, but if you're downloading the update version, you gonna have this issue about the "installer support" file... try to use the sdk version first and see if you gonna be successful
