Cloud Dock U.2 Performance?

I'm considering either a Cloud Store Mini or a Cloud Dock 4 but I'm wondering what performance I could expect from U.2 SSDs used in the Cloud Dock? I understand that a SATA disk used in the Cloud Dock will be limited to SATA 2 speeds, but does the Cloud Dock impose any limit on a U.2 SSD beyond 10GbE?

U.2 drives are very very fast - much faster than M.2 NVMe drives. But the Cloud Store Product line is limited to 10G, with no ability to add a 25G connection. So with a Cloud Dock using U.2, or a Cloud Store using M.2 - you will never get more than 1000 - 1100 MB/sec. You will not be able to achieve 2200 MB/sec, even though U.2's - particularly in a RAID configuration, can do this. Perhaps Blackmagic will add an option for 25G in the future.

Another strike against Cloud Dock is that they still are not available as far as I can tell.

Thanks Bob, full 10Gbe bandwidth would be fine for my purposes, I wouldn't attempt to use it as a cache.
