Has anyone experienced heavy banding on their footage in Premiere Pro? All flavors of prores shot on 6k g2. Settings? Thanks

Never.
I suppose you need to be more specific. Source settings, ISO, grading, monitoring?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

It has to do with the light frequencies in the scene, most likely fluorescent lights

Bmpcc cameras have a slower readout and that translates to banding under certain lighting conditions, you can minimize the effect by applying noise reduction on Davinci (as far as I know), you can mess with the settings to approximate the best result for your footage.

Turns out the sequence settings need to be set to maximum quality for ProRes. My Mac is taking a major hit now on playback speed…

Hi Keif,

I'd be interested in an example footage displaying those banding for study, would it be possible to share it (Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer etc.) ? Thanks !
