Hi Everyone,
Cuda Version 5.5.43 for OSX is now available. For all those using GTX 285 cards will once again be able to use them for acceleration.
Best Regards,
Blake Jones

Cuda update seems to cause big problems getting Resolve or After Effects open on my setup.
Rescinded to 5.5.28 and it all works fine, re-upgraded to 5.5.43 and neither application will open.
Mac Pro 5,1
GTX 570 2.5gb
OS X 10.8.5
Resolve 10.0.1
NVIDIA Driver 313.01.04f01

DO NOT UPGRADE TO LATEST CUDA!!
Resolve wont launch for me either so I had to revert to previous version (5.5.28) Also the driver manager in system prefs cant even launch after rolling back on that version as well - it had asked to update that along with cuda and now I cant even get that to launch?
BMD please advise when you can, thanks.

Hi Everyone,
I am running Resolve 10.1.1 on a MacPro with Mavericks and updated the driver. It all worked fine. I did need to do a restart of the system. Afterwards Resolve started normally.
Best Regards,
Blake

Same with Premiere Pro CC, crashes on splash screen after Nvidia driver and Cuda driver update. At the same time, the Cuda driver is listed as 5.5.43 in Sys Prefs, but still has the red Update Required.
Rolled it back to 5.5.28, all is fine for now.

It seems that Nvidia has replaced CUDA 5.5.43 with .47 ...

Resolve opens for me now after the Cuda update (running a GTX285 here). However as soon as I hit one of the transport controls on my Tangent Wave, Resolve is gone. Crashes with no "hey Resolve just crashed" screen.

Can you post a CaptureLogs .tgz file?
/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/CaptureLogs.app
Double click that after the crash and before you restart Resolve. It will put a .tgz file on your Desktop.

Have you updated your Tangent Wave firmware with the Mavericks V1.12 update available on the Tangent site?

Hi Dwaine,
I´m using a Mac Pro with the latest update to Mavericks. I have a GT120 for the GUI and a GTX285 for acceleration. I did the update and then a restart of the system and it is working perfectly.
Best Regards,
Blake
