Teranex thunderbolt ultra scope

PostMon Oct 22, 2012 5:47 am

As it seems bmd is never going to release a standalone thunderbolt ultra scope for Mac, I want to get a teranex for this and conversion uses. This would be for external scopes on a davinci system. I would go out of my davinci decklink into the teranex, then out of the teranex thunderbolt to my 17" Mac Pro for ultrascope software. The teranex manual says the ultrascope is the output of the teranex. Is there a way to monitor the input or pass through?

Edit, after re reading the manual, there is a second section where it says you can set output match input. Is this true pass though with no processing?

I guess the ultra studio mini recorder and ScopeBox would be the other solution...

Bmd confirms no passive mode on teranex, so scope box it is...

When the input settings are matched to the output settings, and all the processing is not enaged (NR, PRoc Amp Etc). Is the ultrascope not reporting accurate levels?
