Multiple Multiview 4 connection problems

PostFri Feb 09, 2024 8:02 pm

I have 2 multiview 4 devices on my network. When I installed them a few months ago I had both of them connected to the internet. However some time after that I realized that one of them would not connect via the ethernet. It would just hang on "connecting". The output worked fine and the front panel worked...just no ethernet. It would not even show up in the app.

This week I purchased a new one to replace it and had the exact same issue. This is after putting it on a new router, new ethernet cables, everything I could think of. I just cannot get both multi views to show up at the same time on a constant basis. Every once in a while the second one will show up...but still cannot be connected.

Both of them are on DHCP and I confirmed through the front panel that they are different IP addresses. AT this point I have to think this is a Blackmagic issue.

Any thoughts?
