XML Clips out of sync when importing into Davinci Resolve

PostFri Mar 01, 2024 3:54 pm

Ever since I started filming with the BlackMagic Ursa 4.6k, my footage has become out of sync when importing the XML timeline(that is from Adobe Premiere Pro). Davinci Resolve says that some of the footage can not be found, even though they are in the same place as the other clips. When I try to relink them, Davinci still says it can not find them. The clips that are on the timeline are out of sync; they start at random points of the clip rather than the place they were edited to in Premiere Pro.

For additional information, When I was using the BMPCC 6k, I did not have this issue. Can Someone tell me where I am having issues.

Check the frame rate of your premiere pro project vs the frame rate of you Resolve project, vs the frame rate of the clips.

Check the time code of your source clips. Do they all start at 0:00:00:00?

Is premiere doing a frame rate conversion on the clips?

Any of these could lead to sync/ incorrect conform issues.
