Lagging editing interface after upgrade to Davinci Studio

PostWed Mar 13, 2024 4:20 pm

Hi all.

I recently upgraded from Davinci Resolve 18.6 to Davinci Studio 18.6. Before the upgrade, I could edit with little to no lag however after the upgrade I am experiencing a massive lag.
At first, I thought it was a lack of space on my device as that has happened before but I've cleaned up my device. Then I thought it was my compatibility with the app but I disabled the Windows 8 compatibility function.

As of right now, I can only make a few cuts in the project until it lags and then I have to close the software and restart it to continue.

At the time of the upgrade, I purchased the Resolve Speed Editor, and am not sure if this is causing the lag.

Does anyone know what could've caused this issue?
