Will BMD Decklink Mini Monitor 4k play MP4s?

PostWed Apr 10, 2024 7:21 pm

Dear BMD Gurus:
I have installed a BMD Decklink Mini Monitor 4K in my music production workstation (PC- Win 10) to try to take the load off the GPU and CPU. When I try to play the mp4 video from my Steinberg Nuendo project, I can get it to play via computer through the third HDMI port on my Graphics card (Nvidia K2000) but it will not play out the decklink when the HDMI is connected to the TV. I seem to be going round and round in between projects trying to figure this out but I have just getting confused. Any suggestions? Solutions?

Best regards

MP4 is just a container. Check with MediaInfo what’s inside to spot the differences.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
