uninstall an audio plugin

PostTue Apr 16, 2024 4:32 am

Hi I'm using the latest Davinci 18.6.6 and I installed Placeit by soundly for some audio reverb and it totally messed up my project. It's using all my application memory and I can't even open the project anymore. I have mac and I was looking to delete this plugin but I can't find it anywhere in my system.
I was trying to delete it from DaVinci Fairlight page and it's impossible. Please help. I'm working on my feature film and did all the audio work on this project. The other projects I can open just fine. I've never seen a plugin do this to a project especially an audio plugin.

Thanks for your help in advance

Open a fresh project and just switch it off in the System Preferences.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Studio 18.6.6, MacOS 13.6.6, 2017 iMac, 32 GB, Radeon Pro 580
MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM and iPhone 15 Pro
Speed Editor, UltraStudio Monitor 3G
