Embedded Channel 1 & 2

I went to "Clip Attributes" > "Audio">"Source Channel" Column>
I changed the "Embedded Channel 2" Source Channel to "Embedded Channel 1 and
clicked "OK". Now, Both Channels (R&L) are playing Channel 1 Source Channel Data,
which is what I wanted. However:
q1: I'm having what appears to be an audible phase issue; and I wanted to know if I could reverse
phase on the right or left channel. (VERY IMPORTANT!)
q2: Also, does Resolve simply play the "Embedded Channel 1" "Source Channel"
data in the "embedded Channel 2" "Channel in Track" (R), or does it duplicate the
Channel 1 source data, and insert it into the "Channel 2" Source Channel location and play a
copy of the Embedded Channel 1 data?
Note: I noticed that the Data (Timecode) recorded on the Right channel was never lost. I was
curious to know if there was new written data or is the software just using a pointer to play
Embedded Channel 1 data in the Right Channel.
Thank you in advance, Ric
