Decklink Studio 4K no analog audio

Hi all,

I have a client that has a Dell Precision 3650 with this Decklink Studio 4K.

The SDI output works fine (both audio and video) with any standard format.
HD SDI from the breakout cable also works fine (both audio and video).
AES output from the breakout cable works fine on all channels.

But somehow, the analog audio output from the breakout cable doesn't work, for none of the 4 channels.

No matter what I use as a source (Premiere, Media Express, PC audio).

I have updated Desktop Video to the latest version.
I have completely uninstalled Desktop Video, removed the card and reinstalled Desktop Video, but same issue.
Played with different settings in Desktop Video.

I didn't try older versions of Desktop Video.

Could it be a compatibility issue?

Any other idea?

Thanks!

If the Desktop Video settings are correct for your analog audio requirements, I would check the physical connection from the breakout cable to your amplifier or speakers.

I don’t remember but the audio out on the break out cable is either in analog or AES mode - correct? So switching to analog mode results in no audio?

@Peter Cave
I did try different audio cables (1/4-1/4) between the breakout cable and the mixing console. I also tried different inputs and switching with a known working source (PC Audio 3.5mm out) to make sure the console is not the issue.

@mpetech
I only have two choices for Audio Outputs: 2 analog out & 6 AES or 4 analog & 2 AES (here's the screenshot). Neither works.

Sent an email to BMD, but didn't hear back yet.

Thanks

HiFi audio levels are much lower than standard professional levels. Uncheck that option and see if that works.
